Rangers have announced Belgian Philippe Clement as their new manager following the sacking of Michael Beale earlier this month
The Belgian boss comes in to replace Michael Beale who was sacked earlier this month.
In the wake of a lacklustre 10-month spell under Beale, the Belgian boss faces a full in-tray when he takes his first seat in the manager's office. There will be little time for the former Club Brugge and Monaco boss to adjust to life in Glasgow with Brendan Rodgers' Hoops looking relentless in their pursuit of another league title and the intensity will only ramp up from here.
Rangers are yet to confirm what Clement's coaching team will look like and it remains to be seen if he will bring in his own staff or work with what is there. And one of the big questions facing him is what sort of role Davis has to play. But we saw how Gio van Bronckhorst sidelined Jermain Defoe as a coach and it could be that Clement has other plans.
