Vogue hears from Jonny Johansson, creative director of Acne Studios, about the wardrobe he designed for Rosalía’s tour and Coachella performances.
Performing at the first weekend of Coachella.Working closely with her team, Johansson and his studio crafted a total of 128 looks, worn by Rosalía and her dancers , which tapped into recent collections and the brand’s house codes, and nine pairs of custom shoes. Drawing upon aspects from spring/summer 2023 – romantic roses, satin and “undone ease” – and his most recent nature-inspired
showcase, Johansson curated a bespoke series of looks that explored how their worlds “naturally collide”.
