The Toxic Avenger synopsis for Legendary Entertainment's forthcoming superhero movie has finally been released.
“This timely reimagining is up to its eyeballs in environmental themes as Winston goes up against the evil forces of greed and corruption to save his son, his friends, and his community. Even as this story exists on its own terms, the spirit undoubtedly remains connected to the original.”The Toxic Avenger reboot is a contemporary re-imagining of Troma Entertainment’s 1984 cult classic dark comedy that subverts the superhero genre in the vein of Kick-Ass.
Joining Dinklage are Jacob Tremblay , Taylour Paige , Kevin Bacon , Elijah Wood , Julia Davis , Jonny Coyne , Sarah Niles , David Yow , and Jane Levy . It is produced by original directing duo Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz for Troma Entertainment, with Alex Garcia and Jay Ashenfelter to oversee development for Legendary.Maggie Dela Paz has been writing about the movie and TV industry for more than four years now.
