Sometimes to uncover the tooth, you need a forensic DNA expert, three dentists, some stamp collectors and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Via WIREDUK
. For a few days, the internet hummed with the story of Paul Bishop and his marauding teeth.
I wasn’t satisfied with a guess. I needed to find out where these teeth came from. And to work that out, I needed to go to the source of the story. I needed to talk to Paul Bishop. If Serrano didn’t send the letter, then perhaps someone else at the CNB did. After all, somebody had gone to the trouble of paying 10.15 euros to send the teeth 860 miles from Spain to the UK, and the letter was printed on CNB letterhead with the research center’s number at the bottom. The evidence seemed to point squarely to the research center at the heart of the mystery.
Shortly after Syndercombe Court casts doubt on the DNA analysis, I finally hear back from Buckingham Palace. Bishop did invite the Queen to visit the working men’s club where he was, and still is, general manager in 2020. Perhaps the return of the dentures was all a ruse to direct the world’s gaze once again toward Ridge Hill Working Men’s Club? Several of the articles about his teeth did mention that Bishop intended to display the gnashers at the club, after all.
