The View's Sunny Hostin attributed Vice President Kamala Harris's relative unpopularity to"the history, of course, of misogyny" and racism in the United States.
Alyssa Farah Griffin said that she sees the vice president's role as twofold:"Do no harm" and maintain"a higher approval rating than your principal." "She hasn't broken through on major policy accomplishments," Griffin said of Harris."And she will, fairly or unfairly, be the most scrutinized vice president in history because she’s running with the oldest president running for president."Griffin pushed back, saying,"I think you have to be fairly critique the vice president of the United States without just saying it is the color of her skin or she’s a woman.
When Hostin questioned former Vice President Mike Pence's record, Griffin readily listed off three of his accomplishments: the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement, Operation Warp Speed, and Republican tax reforms.
