Loud, sudden bangs are all part of a fireworks display, but they are not for everyone. Some people - and animals - can find them scary and unsettling.
Lancashire Fire and rescue Service is hosting this Quiet Fireworks and Charity Night to raise funds for the Firefighters Charity and Leeds Hospitals Charity. There will be a bonfire followed by a fireworks display, set to music and all with the reassurance that highly-trained processionals will be on hand to take care of you.
