It turns out that there’s three things Hailey keeps in her fall wardrobe rotation, and they arepieces to have: an oversized blazer, a chunky sweater, and a “great coat,” any of which we can easily imagine the model rocking on a cool autumn day. “I'm like, so big on a big chunky jacket or a big chunky coat,” Hailey told.
She went on to explain how she styles a chunky coat, noting that it’s important to build contrast and not pair it with anything too chunky underneath. “So maybe a more fitted little sweater or a thinner cardigan with a thermal underneath, a good pair of jeans, and a boot or a sneaker,” Hailey, adding that she’s always experimenting with layers and texture to see what feels right. “I think you just have to see what works best on your body type and your height,” she explained.
As for footwear, Hailey shared that she’s always “down for a good rain boot,” adding that she likes to pair rain boots with baggy jeans rolled up along with a chunky, knit sweater. “I'm from the east coast where it rains and it gets cold, and my husband's from Canada, where it gets even colder, and also gloomy and rainy,” she said. “So I think a classic pair of rain boots are very essential.
