is proving to be a huge success for the automaker and aiding in its popularity are the wide array of variants and accessories available for the off-roader. Now, an aftermarket specialist has created an accessory that many Bronco owners have been clamoring for.
At the Bronco’s presentation back in 2020, Ford unveiled a concept with so-called ‘donut’ doors complete with large cutouts. Ford quicklymaking it to production so a company by the name of Anderson Composites has stepped up to the plate with donut doors of its own, albeit dubbed ‘halo’ doors. Images shared on social media by the Californian company show that the ‘halo’ doors look very similar to the donut doors fromitself. They are made from lightweight fiberglass and feature a carbon fiber insert. Presumably, the carbon fiber can be left exposed or it can be painted.
Development on the doors continues and they are not yet available to purchase or to fit to customer-owned Broncos, although Anderson Composites says they are “coming soon.”owners looking to pick up a set of these doors will most likely do so simply for aesthetic purposes. However, they could prove to be beneficial when off-roading, providing drivers with a better view of the terrain beneath them, making it that little easier to navigate over or around obstacles.
