Scots business has been left gutted after five boats were nicked on Thursday morning.
Staff at a Scots business have been left gutted after thieves allegedly stole a trailer and five racing boats which were to be used at a race in Loch Ness.
The boats were due to compete in the Monster the Loch event, at Loch Ness, next weekend and so far only two have been found, reports Glasgow Live. "If the perpetrators leave the rest of the boats somewhere like the others, that would be the best outcome as we are pretty sure that they just wanted the trailer. The boats are due to go from Monster the Loch in Lochness and on to Italy for the World Rowing Coastal Championships for competing athletes from all over the world.Police Scotland confirmed enquiries are ongoing.
