Cat Deeley has opened up about her experience as a lead presenter on This Morning, and heaped praise on Holly Willoughby for the 'classy gesture' she made
Cat Deeley sung the praises of Holly Willoughby as she shared the behind-the-scenes support she received after stepping into her shoes as a lead presenter on This Morning , alongside Ben Shephard . Following Holly's emotional exit from the show in October last year, when she cited personal reasons and a desire to focus on her family, and in the midst of scary kidnap threats, Cat says Holly still found a moment to reach out to her.
Cat, who rose to fame alongside Holly during their CD:UK days, also spoke about a future catch-up with the mum of three, who recently travelled to Costa Rica to film a new Netflix show, Bear Hunt with Bear Grylls, and put to bed any talk of a so-called feud between the two women. Addressing the intense spotlight she's under as the new co-host of the long running ITV morning show, Cat said: "Everyone keeps checking in with me, 'Are you OK? Are you handling this all right?".
Cat, who shares two kids with her husband, Northern Irish comedian and telly favourite Patrick Kielty, moved back to the UK after a successful stint in the States hosting So You Think You Can Dance for an impressive 18 seasons.
