Sharon Marshall confirmed she would be taking a break from This Morning as she was replaced by Coronation Street star Jodie Prenger
On Wednesday's episode of This Morning , Sharon Marshall shared her upcoming plans for a short hiatus from the programme.
Sharon hinted at "I have got a bit of killer news as well,", prompting co-host Rylan to express his dismay at her impending absence: "I am a bit annoyed you're off having a little rest." However, fans won't be left without their beloved soap segment, as Sharon reassured: "But we are not going to leave you with no soapbox, we wouldn't do that to you," reports the Mirror.To everyone's delight, Sharon revealed: "Well only the queen of the cobbles herself, we have got the magnificent Jodie Prenger," as Jodie made her appearance via video link on the Coronation Street set.
Jodie responded with candour, admitting: "No and I am really nervous," and joked about shoe sizes, hoping not to stretch Sharon's stylish footwear, before optimistically adding: "You can only do your best."
