This Morning viewers snapping up free woks from Iceland to celebrate Chinese New Year affiliate
Frozen food supermarket Iceland is offering shoppers a free wok this week, in preparation for the Chinese New Year. The deal sees customers snap up three Ben’s Original products and the cooking pan for just £5.
Coupon Queen Holly Smith impressed Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond with the deal on Friday’s episode of This Morning as part of a New Year, New Deals segment. Included in the offer are a number of microwavable rices, as well as sauce jars that Iceland currently has on offer for £1.50, down from £2. The wok alone is worth £4.At the original price, Iceland shoppers could save up to £5 with the deal , with three jars at full price and the wok usually totalling £10.
Customers can choose from Ben’s original sweet and sour, medium curry or chilli con carne sauce, or a selection of rice including chicken, egg fried or basmati, all of which can be whipped into something delicious in the large pan. Shoppers in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group also shared the bargain, with one thrilled shopper sharing her haul, adding: “Bargain in Iceland. All for £5 including the wok.”While a third commented: “I got this today I did an Iceland home delivery. And wok is amazing you need it.”This year Chinese New Year falls on Sunday, January 22, welcoming the Year of the Rabbit.
