Whether you've known exactly how to create the perfect wavy hairstyle for years or tend to regard the curling iron as a confusing, dangerous object, chances are, you could be curling your hair even more efficiently. At least that's the conclusion I've come to after discovering this YouTube hair tutorial by beauty vlogger Vivian V, which offers a super simple trick for streamlining the hair-curling process.
Are you ready for this? It's almost too easy: Pull your hair into a high ponytail at the crown of your head, and then go through and curl the length of the tail in one- or two-inch sections. Vivian uses this curling wand form NuMe in the video, but any curling wand or iron will do . Obviously, this trick only works if you have fairly long hair — but it's a real time saver, easily creating curls that begin a little below eye level for a soft, natural effect.
