Police and paramedics raced to the scene after the major collision
Three people have died after a horrific crash near a pier in north Wales on Wednesday . Emergency services raced to the incident in the Beaumaris Pier area at around 2.45pm.
It was later tragically confirmed that three people had died at the scene of the crash, with investigations ongoing to establish the full circumstances, North Wales Live reports. A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Shortly after 2.45pm today officers responded to reports of a road traffic collision in Beaumaris, Anglesey. The incident occurred on Alma Street, close to Beaumaris Pier.
"Our efforts to establish the full circumstances of this incident remain ongoing. We continue to appeal to people to avoid the area of the High Street, which is expected to be closed for some time."
