Invermen up and running on all fronts after draw away at Coleraine
Tiernan Lynch admitted it was hard to have full focus on Sunday's opening league fixture at Coleraine after Larne's historic European result.
The European campaign has been Larne's sole focus for the last two months but their defence of the Gibson Cup is finally up and running following the draw at The Showgrounds on Sunday. "But we have to park that now as there's no point in doing the European campaign if you can't get your domestic campaign right. It was always probably going to be a tough one today getting that first one out of the way. Now it's done we'll learn from it, reflect on it and go again. "It was one of those situations where we had to roll our sleeves up. Blooding so many players probably wasn't ideal, but it was just something that needed to be done. We're not going to make excuses for it. Great credit to Coleraine in the first half.
