'Try living there... it's a nightmare'
A Tiktok video has revealed crazy scenes in the Peak District over the Easter Weekend, as scores of families in cars flocked to the beauty spot.
Tiktok user Lucy Sturgess filmed the chaotic scenes at the national park while out cycling on Saturday and posted the footage online along with the caption: "Cars everywhere in the peak district today!" People reported seeing cars dumped on grass verges with many vehicles receiving parking tickets. Locals took to the comments to criticise the crazy scenes and blamed the wave of holiday makers for the horrendous traffic at the popular beauty spot, that saw hundreds of vehicles clog the countryside roads.
"Drove by earlier with cars parked everywhere on the verges with dozens and dozens slapped with parking tickets. Bonkers behaviour," said another.
