Norwich City goalkeeper Tim Krul is undergoing a medical at Luton Town on Tuesday after agreeing to join the newly-promoted side,Norwich were open to letting Krul leave the club this summer after he was surpassed by Angus Gunn in the pecking order in the middle of the 2022-23 campaign.He was on the bench for both of Norwich’s Championship fixtures so far – including in the 4-4 draw with Southampton on Saturday .
Meanwhile, Krul made 17 appearances across all competitions in 2022-23, conceding 19 goals and keeping five clean sheets before being replaced between the sticks by Gunn. The 15-cap Netherlands international, who played at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, last played in the Premier League for Norwich in the 2021-22 campaign.
He has racked up 222 total appearances in the English top flight across spells with the Canaries and Newcastle United – conceding 371 goals and keeping 52 clean sheets in those games. Luton lost their first-ever Premier League game on Saturday with Brighton beating them 4-1 at the Amex Stadium.
