Beloved actor Timothy West, known for his roles in Dad's Army and as an EastEnders icon, has passed away peacefully at the age of 90, enveloped by the warmth of family and friends. In a statement released by his children, Juliet, Samuel, and Joseph West through his agent, they expressed their heartfelt loss: "After a long and extraordinary life on and off the stage, our darling father Timothy West died peacefully in his sleep yesterday evening.
This touching dedication to his wife was disclosed in 2015 after Timothy spoke with Piers Morgan, where the presenter commented on his devotion: "He's her main carer. He's been utterly fantastic. But you could see total sadness etched on his face that they can't now share all the stuff they have shared, because she can only remember parts of it.", reports the Mirror.
Timothy continued: "I went to see the first night and it was good, much enjoyed by the audience and then I went to see it again and I thought 'She's not totally with it'. We went to see a specialist and he said I am sorry this is just something that happens to you when you get older. It is not going to get any easier but we cope with it and we manage."
