Former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III admitted his guilt on Wednesday in causing the traffic accident that killed 23-year-old Las Vegas resident Tina Tintor and her dog, Max.
Judge Jennifer Schwartz set Ruggs’ sentencing for Aug. 9.
Instead, Ruggs’ attorneys reached an agreement to have their client plead guilty to two charges in exchange for a sentence that will be at least three years and no more than 10 years of incarceration by the Nevada Department of Corrections. . “We will make a more complete statement once the Honorable Court has fully accepted the resolution.”Tintor died from “thermal injuries due to a motor-vehicle collision.”
