1951 — Ezzard Charles knocks out Lee Oma in the 10th round at Madison Square Garden in New York to retain the heavyweight title.

Dolph Schayes of the Syracuse Nationals, hugs the ball in dressing room in Philadelphia on Jan. 12, 1960, after he became the first National Basketball Association player to top the 15,000 point mark. Schayes 12-year veteran, scored 34 points to bring his career total to 15,013. Syracuse beat Boston 127-120.
