Today's Google Doodle celebrates the birthday of Johann Sebastian Bach with an AI-powered music composition game.

You don't have to know how to compose music to play today's very clever Google Doodle, which celebrates the birthday of Johann Sebastian Bach who was born on this day in 1685.

Google has created a Doodle that let's you write in a couple stanza's worth of musical notes which it then uses to “harmonize the custom melody into Bach’s signature music style.”Google entered 306 of Bach's choral compositions into a computer model which essentially learned the composer's style. Then they transferred that over to the Google Doodle, allowing the model to take user inputs and compose a distinctly Bach-ish sounding piece from them.

Simply head over to the Google homepage to give it a spin. And a very happy birthday to one of history's greatest musical talents!
