Now Detective Chief Inspector Steven Elliot has released a statement in the hope that McKinlay's conviction serves as a warning to those involved in drug supply operations.He said: “This was a co-ordinated effort to bring large quantities of illegal and harmful substances into Scotland.
"This sentence sends a clear message for anyone who is involved in the supply of illegal substances that this will not be tolerated in our communities."The public continue to play a vital role in assisting our investigations and anyone with any concerns about drugs, or who has information about those involved in drugs, should contact Police Scotland on 101 or make an anonymous report to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
