made the top 3 in a poll of the most desirable UK tourist destinations for 2023. In a survey of 2,000 adults, 50% said they are planning a staycation rather than jetting abroad due to the cost of living.
Only Yorkshire and Cornwall nudged past the Scottish destination to claim the two top spots.When it comes to the preferred style of staycation, a countryside B&B appeals to 30 per cent while 28 per cent are looking to visit lakes and mountains. The research, commissioned by Sykes Holiday Cottages following the launch of its annual Staycation
