I am appalled Pennsylvania continues to spend our tax dollars on wasteful and abhorrent experiments on animals.
The inhumane treatment, lack of compassion, horrid torture practices and pain these animals endure in the name of “science” is so outdated and disgusting!
My heart pounds and the tears flow when I read of any animals that are subject to these horrors! These experiments should not go on anywhere, least of all my hometown! Honestly, how do people even perform these jobs knowing they inflict pain and torment on puppies, kittens, rabbits, and other living, feeling creatures then go home to watch their kid’s playfully interacting with their family pets!for animals. I do not approve of my tax dollars going to this practice! I am glad to read that federal and state laws are moving in the right direction to end this wasteful and, more importantly, torturous acts on innocent animals.
