Breaking: Tory Lanez was charged Thursday in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. Lanez is accused of one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.
Rapper Megan Thee Stallion thanked her fans and slammed her haters in a tearful Instagram Live video after suffering gunshot wounds in both her feet.
If convicted as charged, Lanez faces a maximum sentence of 22 years and eight months in state prison.Stallion underwent surgery for a gunshot wound in July, and shrapnel was removed from her left heel in the hours after she said she was shot after a night of partying, medical records reviewed by The Times show.
