A burst water main in Watford town centre left around a hundred properties temporarily without water

Credit: Stephen Danzig An Affinity Water spokesperson said: “At around 10pm last night we were alerted to a burst water main in the centre of Watford.
“We had to temporarily isolate the supply to around 100 properties whilst we repaired the section of pipe that had burst."They added: “Our technicians responded very quickly and repairs were completed within two hours. We’re sorry for any disruption this caused and we would like to thank customers for their patience.”
