Food and retail market Trademarket in Belfast city centre has launched a campaign to save the business by acquiring a new site as its Dublin Road lease comes to an end.
In 2022, Kainos agreed a temporary leasing agreement with the operators of Trademarket and they state the lease will end this summer as planned on July 31. "As we look to the future, we are eager to continue making a positive impact, driving growth, and creating new opportunities in the region. I would also like to take a moment to thank Trademarket for their partnership. As they move on to new ventures, we wish them every success."
"Trademarket has always been a hub for independent businesses and has over 20 spaces for grassroots enterprise and has employed 100+ people. Bankmore Square is an open green space on the Dublin Road, currently leased from the Department for Infrastructure by the Linen Quarter BID, that was regenerated last year with outdoor seating and a central reservation area for events.
