Trae tha Truth gifts Astros with World Series bling
Trae Tha Truth and Ice Man Nice gift Houston Astros players with a diamond custom piece and necklace for the World Series Championship. Wednesday November 16, 2022After the Fall Classic is over, it's only natural for things to get covered in ice.
Trae, whose real name is Frazier Othel Thompson III, partnered with Houston jeweler Iceman Nick, aka Kashif Ghafoor, to design a World Series-celebrating necklace for players and coaches. They hand-delivered the gifts to the ballpark on Wednesday afternoon, where they met with World Series MVP shortstop Jeremy Peña, pitcher Lance McCullers Jr./and catcher Jason Castro.
"The city's always treated us with so much love and appreciation," McCullers said as he tried on the new jewelry and took a selfie."I think coming back and fighting for another World Championship after 2017, I think the entire city has been waiting for it. We were just happy to be able to give to them, especially here at home."
