A woman has been reunited with her phone after it flew off her car's roof as she sped along the M1. Highway officers braved traffic to retrieve the, somehow unharmed, phone from the central reservation of the motorway.
The driver saw her phone career into the centre of the motorway, but didn't consider stopping to get it because of the dangers, reports Leicestershire Live. But she did contact National Highways to see if they could reunite her with the device.Teams used the 'Find My Phone App' from the driver's partner's phone to locate the handset. It was found, as expected, lying in the central reservation of the M1 near Leicester.
