Tragic news. RIP Ben
An appeal had been issued regarding the whereabouts of Ben Murray. The 35-year-old was last seen at around 6pm on Sunday .
He had been riding a mountain bike, wearing cargo shorts and a dark T-shirt. Officers believed he could be in Rivington, Heapey or White Coppice area. Lancashire Constabulary has now confirmed a body has been found following a widespread search for Ben.A spokesperson for the force said: "Yesterday we asked for you help to find Ben Murray, 35, who was missing from Chorley. Very sadly, Mr Murray was found deceased and his family are aware. Our thoughts are with them at this sad and distressing time.
"Mr Murray’s death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will passed in due course to HM Coroner."
