RMT Network Rail staff were set to walk out across three days
Rail, Maritime and Transport union has suspended train strikes after securing intensive negotiations with rail bosses.
The union has suspended planned strikes less than 24 hours they were meant to walk out. The industrial action was set to see Network Rail staff strike on November 5, 7 and 9. The union will now enter into a period of intensive negotiations with Network Rail and the train operating companies.
RMT general secretary Mick Lynch said: “The threat of strike action and our strongly supported industrial campaign has made the rail employers see sense.
