The head of Translink has urged people to "work with us" amid the ongoing traffic congestion issues in Belfast city centre.
Mr Conway addressed the ongoing congestion issues in Belfast city centre in recent weeks due to a number of roadworks projects. This includes public realm works around the new £340m public transport hub, which has led to heavy traffic at rush hour, causing long backlogs on the city’s roads and disruption to nightly public transport.
Mr Conway told BBC Radio Ulster's Good Morning Ulster: "Today we're announcing a €25million investment in the Dublin-Belfast economic corridor and supporting the economy in Belfast and wider Northern Ireland as well. That's in addition to the investment in Grand Central Station itself, the public realm works around it.
Mr Conway added: "Making the shift to public transport is important but obviously there's congestion which affects public transport as well. We need enhancements in the public transport infrastructure to improve that. Earlier this month, police removed a sinister sign left at the Boyne Bridge appearing to threaten construction workers who will be involved in dismantling it.
