The charges date back to protests at a Home Office raid in Pollokshields
Olivia Jones, 24, Kairos Pakleppa and Nicholas Sigsworth, both 33, face charges following the protest in Kenmure Street, Pollokshields on May 13 last year.
Crowds had gathered that day after two Sikh men were detained by the Home Office for alleged immigration violations.Jones, of the city's Battlefield, is accused of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner towards police.Jones faces a third charge of repeatedly kicking one of the officers to her injury and a final accusation of punching the other on the body.
Sigsworth, of York, faces claims that he obstructed three constables and refused to get out of a vehicle or an alternative allegation of breach of the peace.They have pleaded not guilty to the charges they each face. Jones and Pakleppa are due face summary trials without a jury in early October with Sigsworth's case set for later that month.
