Shannen Morgan and Shane Roller, along with two girls believed to be their daughters Lillie and Rubie, died in a crash on the A61 between Barnsley and Wakefield on Sunday afternoon
Heartfelt tributes have been pouring in for a family of four who died in a devastating crash on the A61 in West Yorkshire.
The fatal crash occurred when their Ford Focus and a motorcycle crashed near Newmillerdam, West Yorkshire, at 3.54pm, claiming the lives of both the motorcyclist and their passenger as well.Family members have been sharing their grief and commemorating the lives of the couple. Callum Roller, Shane's brother, took to social media to convey his shock and profound loss, admitting he was "lost for words" and that his heart had been "ripped into a million pieces".
A family friend was overwhelmed by the loss. "Life is so cruel," said Beth Rose Brittain, who held a deep bond with the family, referring to Shannen as "my extra sister". Overcome by emotion, she said: "I just can't speak. No words. Sleep tight my little Roller family your memory will live on for eternity."
Following the collision on Sunday, the community rallied to support the bereaved family through a GoFundMe initiative for the couple's surviving child. The fundraiser quickly accumulated more than £8,000.
