Although there are plenty of valid reasons to be critical of the U.S. military, unsurprisingly, Trump’s problems with veterans seemingly have little to do with any opinions he may have on the actual wars that these former members of the military fought in, or on American imperialism more broadly. In fact, he doesn’t seem to know much about the wars the United States has participated in at all.
