In a new poll, voters said they see Kamala Harris as more honest than not. The same was not true for Pence.
Generally, Harris was seen as being"more inspiring, honest, and caring" than Pence, with the biggest difference being on candidates' ability to inspire, with 43 percent saying"inspiring" describes Harris well, compared with 30 percent who described Pence that way. Thirty-one percent said it did not describe Harris well, while 53 percent said they would not attribute the word to Pence.
Meanwhile, at least 41 percent said they felt Pence is honest and trustworthy, but 43 percent said they did not believe those words described the vice president. With so much focus on whether Biden's running mate would be a suitable successor should the need arise, a plurality of voters said they believe Harris is qualified to become president.
