President Donald Trump was abruptly evacuated from a press briefing on coronavirus on Monday evening just minutes after he began speaking following a shooting outside of the White House.

"There was an actual shooting, and somebody has been taken to the hospital. I don't know the condition of the person," Trump said after he returned to the White House briefing room.
