Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has denied eating pudding with his fingers, but that didn’t stop a Trump-backing super PAC from launching a 30-second ad blasting DeSantis while video plays of a man digging his fingers through a plastic cup of chocolate pudding.
Friday the pro-DeSantis group “Never Back Down” bought its first TV ads, reserving $206,000 of commercial time in Nevada and South Carolina.over the past few months, labeling him “Ron DeSanctimonious,” “Ron DisHonest” and “Tiny D,” while insisting his time as governor has been a failure—even though DeSantis was reelected last year in a landslide.
The former president now regularly attacks DeSantis from the left on the issues of Social Security and Medicare, portraying DeSantis as out of touch over his past support for cutting retirement programs.
