Donald Trump is thinking about returning to Twitter, allies say
After an extended hiatus from his once-favorite platform, Trump allies and some close to his presidential campaign expect him to tweet again at some point, according to the news outlet. When he does return, they expect him to do so with"showmanship and a purpose," Axios reported.
The former president has been missing from the platform for almost two and a half years after he had his Twitter account suspended following the Capitol insurrection in January 2021. His account was reinstated by Elon Musk following his acquisition of Twitter. In November, MuskDespite this, Trump has yet to tweet, instead opting to keep his posts exclusively on Truth Social.
