Another week, another Jan.6 revelation that makes the former president look like a criminal. As reported by the Washington Post, apparently there is a 7 hour plus gap in Trump’s Jan.6th phone records. Donald Trump hasn’t been quiet for seven hours in his life, not even when asleep. We know he was talking to folks in the capital like Mo Brooks and Tommy Tuberville, so where are the records? Was the president using a burner phone to conduct official business? Because that would be a massive national security risk. Way worse then, hypothetically speaking, using a private email server as secretary of state.

In other Republican news, Madison Cawthorn is living the party life in D.C. The underwhelming congressman from North Carolina gave an interview in which he claimed he had been invited to cocaine fueled orgies with fellow Republicans. This is a follow up to his previous hit sound bites where he called Zelensky “a thug” and declared Ukraine “incredibly evil”.
