The committee has yet to release a slate of witnesses for the hearing. It has yet to announce the hearing’s focus, either, although Rep. Adam Schiff it will center around the “efforts to assemble that mob on the mall,” and the White House’s potential connection to extremist groups like the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers. Members of both groups have been charged with seditious conspiracy in connection with their alleged plots to take the Capitol by force last Jan. 6.
