A signal failure has ground services to a halt.
Delays are expected on the Victoria Line this morning Severe delays have been reported on the London underground this morning. Due to a signal failure at Finsbury Park, services on the Victoria line are expected to be heavily disrupted until around 9:30am. Trains running between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport are also expecting delays due to a signal failure. Commuters were caught in the disruption, with one woman saying people were ‘annoyed and angry.
‘Everyone was annoyed and angry of course especially because those from the Greater Anglia train could have just stayed on our original train if we had been notified.’ In the end, Victoria decided to turn back and return to work from home after missing her 9am meeting. But she lost £30 she had spent on her ticket. She said she felt ‘annoyed and disappointed’ due to the lack of communication between Greater Anglia and Transport for London.
