Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is not backing down after being put on notice for violating “Twitter rules abut hateful conduct” following a series of tweets stating that those born with “one X and one Y chromosome” are not women but men.
Paxton’s initial tweet followed Assistant Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine, a biological man, being named one of USA Today’s “Women of the Year” this past week.
Congratulations to Emma Weyant for being the real champion of the Division 1 NCAA women’s 500-yard freestyle, because the person who came in “first” is actually a man.“This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about hateful conduct,” Twitter wrote in a warning filter placed on Paxton’s tweets. “However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible.”
