Twitter increases paid users’ tweet limit to 10,000 characters
For Twitter Blue users in the US, the website’s 280-character limit has been a thing of the past since February when it gave them the ability to post. Now, the company has more than doubled that limit and has launched support for tweets up to 10,000 characters in length. In addition, the website now supports bold and italics text formatting, allowing content creators to use those elements to break up potentially huge blocks of text.
We’re making improvements to the writing and reading experience on Twitter! Starting today, Twitter now supports Tweets up to 10,000 characters in length, with bold and italic text formatting.
