Two men in their twenties are in police custody
Two men have been arrested after a taxi driver was forced to pull over, before being 'grabbed from behind' and robbed in Oldham.
Greater Manchester Police say two men, both in their twenties, are in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of robbery. The driver's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.Police say there is 'no place' for these kinds of incidents, and are asking members of the public to come forward with any information.
"The driver was hurt during the incident, although the injuries he sustained are not believed to be life threatening. His earnings for the night and some of his work equipment were then taken. The passengers then made off on foot. Two men, both in their 20s, are currently in police custody. Investigations are ongoing.
