Two teenage boys were killed in a hit-and-run Friday night as they walked in a designated crosswalk on the East Side, according to preliminary police information.
The boys, identified by relatives as 17-year-old James Solis and 15-year-old Jordan Canedo, were struck by an unknown vehicle traveling eastbound in the 2700 block of Rigsby Avenue around midnight. One of the teens — it’s not clear which one — was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other died a few minutes after arriving at a local [email protected]
