Pedro Grifol still insists the White Sox are preparing the right way and putting in the necessary work to become a team that rises above mediocrity.
"We haven't clicked yet as a team and why that is, I'm not sure. But we're working every single day to figure it out and when we do, hopefully we'll get on a nice little stretch." The lopsided loss to the Angels wasn't much of a mystery. In another subpar start, Lance Lynn was shelled for 8 runs on 8 hits and 2 walks over 4 innings.
"I've got to be better. I've got to be more efficient. I've got to make better pitches and get some outs there." As for the White Sox getting right, Lynn is as puzzled as his manager.
