A Lincolnshire Police officer and a former colleague based in Gainsborough are facing a misconduct hearing later this month.
During the proceedings at Nottingham Crown Court last year, both officers were indicted on multiple misconduct offences that questioned their integrity and actions during their time with the force. Out of the eight charges presented, four were exclusively linked to Hammerton's actions. Three of them related to accessing data from a police computer without permission, two of which he pleaded guilty to and the other of which he pleaded not guilty to.Meanwhile, Vickers faced two individual charges relating to assisting Hammerton with accessing the police data, both of which she denied.
