Rowe admits things appear to be getting safer after a court ordered agreement was signed in January between the Columbus City Attorney's office and the owners of the apartment complex that required operators to install more security cameras, lighting, and license plate detection systems, after their was a spike in violent crime."for the most part we are seeing them patrol a lot more," Rowe said.
Since Memorial Day, four people have been shot and wounded at the apartment complex during two separate incidents.in the legs on May 29th walking to her home shortly before 5 a.m. after spending the night at an aunt's home who lives in the apartment complex.All four victims are expected to recover.Klein says the uptick in recent violence has his office concerned
Klein says his property action team meets regularly with complex owners and plans to discuss the recent rash of shootings with them within the next few weeks.
