One of many Republican candidates running for Pennsylvania’s open U.S. Senate seat in 2022 was in Lancaster Saturday, prior to another political event on Sunday. Dr. Mehmet Oz spoke to the Womens Republican Club of Lancaster. While in central Pennsylvania, he talked to prospective supporters about several topics from the federal government’s COVID response to the international crisis in Ukraine.

“Today, the Women’s Republican Club of Lancaster County was pleased to host Dr. Oz, a candidate for U.S. Senate, another event in our series of opportunities for voters to meet and learn about various Republican candidates and their platforms,” the club wrote on its Facebook page. Oz is speaking on a panel at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference Sunday. He said he plans on sharing his thoughts “about how Washington got COVID wrong,” according to his Twitter page.
